I have had a love for architecture and interior design since I was twelve. My favorite pass time was sketching floor plans, building facades, and landscaping ideas. After majoring in Art, I found myself carving out a career in mortgage banking, escrow, and bulk sales. In 2000, I returned to college to study the culinary arts and interior design. I opened my interior design business in 2008, at last following my passion for design.
I hold an Associate of Arts Degree and Certificates in Residential Interior Design and Retail Merchandising from the Santa Rosa Jr. College. I have formerly served on the board of directors for The Interior Design Society, Wine Country Chapter (IDS).
Kitchens are my favorite design projects. With my strong educational background, I can provide my clients with a well thought-out design that is both beautiful and functional. Function and lighting are a high priority with me. I offer hand-drafted lighting plans permit ready. I also love to create custom light fixtures for my clients.
My husband and I are fost/adopt parents to five wonderful children. My husband cooks for our local school and also shares my love for design.
Some of my accomplishments are:
My lighting has been published in Kitchen Trends and Sonoma Magazine.
My interiors have been showcased in the 2011 & 2012 IDS Designer Showcases and
the Junior League’s Holiday Home Tour for two years.
